Frankly speaking, traveling in a train is convenient; however, any sort of comforts while traveling can hardly keep anyone completely relaxed. If it is not for others, for me it is so; this is probably because of my job, which doesn’t entail any travel to any places. We had our hotel booked downloading the app for hotel booking, which offered enough options for us to go for budget hotels with decent luxury and comforts.
We checked in the Hotel Excellency Bhubaneswar, a renowned hotel in and around the place. The hotel is situated in Ashok Nagar and offer luxurious Deluxe and Executive rooms. We had a deluxe room with an additional bed for three of us. The rooms are well-designed with beautiful interiors chosen carefully to suit the current trends and taste of travelers.

There was a leatherette sofa and table with chairs. The floors are carpeted and the bed is queen-sized to accommodate two persons. I walked along the corridor to know more about the facilities the property offered. By then two staff passed me smiling and enquiring whether I need any help. I walked to the travel desk and looked for someone to help me. A staff looking well-dressed came running to me. I had to book the cab and fix the itinerary and needed some help, which was offered immediately.
The Hotel Excellency, by all standards, looked apt for business travelers the most. There are conference halls and the business center to take care of the needs of the business customers. The other facilities offered looked quite similar to other hotels and they include the newspaper, 24-hour room service, free transfers, Wi-Fi, gym, velvet parking, fitness center, laundry, swimming pool and spa.

There is a multi-cuisine restaurant, The Epitome offering delectable Indian and Chinese cuisines. There is a tandoor point too serving meat delicacies. For those who want to soak, there is the Eclipse Bar, offering a variety of drinks.
Certainly, there are many other tastefully designed hotels, but the Hotel Excellency offers easy access to many places of tourist interest. Other than that, the railway station, which is just one kilometer away and the Biju Patnaik Airport, which is just four kilometers away, are easily accessible.
It was getting late and I have a lot to do to start my sightseeing trip in Bhubaneswar.
