I must say that the journey was all well planned and also my accommodation. When you look at a picture of a resort or a hotel on the internet, the picture makes it look so heavenly and enticing. I chose the Sparsa Resort Kanyakumari despite this knowledge that it may not be as amazing as it looks like. I was in for a surprise though. The resort was everything I imagined and wanted it to be at.

Located at a walking distance away from the sunset point, this resort gleamed in the sun with a breathtaking beauty. Even so, the exteriors did not do justice to the beautiful interiors of the resort. As soon as I set foot into the resort, I was greeted by the kind staff and shown to the reception area. All I had to do was show them the reservations I made online and they wasted no time to take me to my room.

The resort is just mind-blowing and my room was even better. It had all the amenities that I could possibly need including air conditioning, television, telephone, mini refrigerator, coffee maker etc. The lavish décor of the room and the wide set windows giving a beautiful view of the city was like a dream come true. The resort has also maintained a very traditional sense with their interiors to give it a very homely feel. As soon as I was in the privacy of my room, I washed my body and dressed quickly and packed up the necessities such as my camera, sun screen, etc. and locked the rest of my valuables in the safe.

I got downstairs to the lobby and approached the reception and the staff immediately attended me and handed a map with all the tourist spots marked out. The staff also assisted me with the best way to move around the city and get to the places. I was really impressed when I stepped out of the resort and couldn’t wait to get to the places mentioned on the map. Sparsa Resort Kanyakumari will surely receive thumbs up from me when I recommend it to others.
