After the same monotonous day at work, I came home exhausted. I never thought I could get myself to complete my packing and get to the bus on time. However, the mere thought of me on the beach of Kanyakumari and immersing myself in its rich history was an encouragement enough. I immediately got cleaned up, packed everything required and got out of home in no time. The Kallada Travels picked me up at a convenient place and I was off to the holiday that I so deserve! The bus journey from Hyderabad to Kanyakumari by Kallada Travels was going to be almost 18 hours long. I did not have to worry much about that as all the buses of Kallada travels is fully air conditioned and semi-sleeper.
The bus was supposed to depart at 5:00 P.M. and would reach Kanyakumari at 10:00 the following morning. That just gave me an ample amount of time to sit back, relax and get some peaceful sleep. Most of the days, my work gets the better part of me and even sleep is never peaceful. In a hope to get the peace and calm through this break that I am taking from my day to day life, I planned for that journey. I have always wanted to go to Kanyakumari, it being the south-most point of our beautiful country!

I could hardly contain the excitement when I put my bags in to the luggage compartment below the bus so that I can travel more comfortably. I sat in my seat, watching the bus take me out of the city and its bustling busy people hurriedly returning home after a long hour’s work. Life can just pass you by when you are busy looking into the computer and a pile of papers, reaching out for success. The bus journey from Hyderabad to Kanyakumari by Kallada Travels was a step away from that race for success and a step closer to living my life! The night fell upon us; I pulled on my blanket and went off to sleep with a smile on my lips as the bus took me to my destination.
