Ramakrishna Math Bangalore – The Virtue of a Spiritual Society

Our next destination was scheduled to visit Ramakrishna Math Bangalore. It is an organization that was  brought into existence by the Modern Age Prophet of Bengal, Sri Ramakrishna. He was a great saint of  19th century. I was excited to see this place as I have witnessed number of monasteries in my present  journey of life before, but observing a Math and that of Sri Ramakrishna was simply a dynamic experience for me. The universal spiritual movement of the saint was regarded as the great contribution  towards the society. The institution is working calmly for more than 100 years to regenerate the society  with new lessons of humanity.

People who want some time for self solitude  can come to this place anytime. The ideal on which the spiritual beliefs of the organization stand is the philosophy known as Vedanta, which is the ancient religious philosophy of India. Expounded by Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda, the teachings are till now known to be unified, purified and energized by them. The Math was established in the month of August and in the year 1906.
